Evening view of faisal mosque Islamabad
The Faisal Mosque is the largest mosque in Pakistan. it is located in the capital city of Pakistan, Islamabad. it is completed in 1986 by Turkish architect Vedat Dalokay.
It's shape is like a desert Bedouin's tent. it's name is named after the late King Faisal bin Abdul-Aziz of Saudi Arabia. He was the man, who supported and financed the project. It is the largest mosque in South Asia.
10,000 worshipers can pray at a time in its main prayer hall. The mosque is on the foot of Margalla Hills.
