My visit to kolkata

Kolkata  is the one of the old, famous and beautiful city of india. it was the capital of india during british rule of india. some worlds most famous and ranking places are here, so during my visit i visited some places let me show you by means of picture.

at very morning i reached there in kolkata by rajdhani express train.

then by taxi i reached khiddirpore, one of old area of living. this all pics are from khiddirpore  .

this is bridge of khiddirpore , a very old bridge made during british rule.

then i went to gennex valley appartments for living for my stay in kolkata.

        Scholars have identified Manjusri as the oldest and most significant bodhisattva in Mahāyāna literature. the swayambhu purana , is a buddhist scripture about the origin and development of Kathmandu valley. In the third chapter of it there is written that maitreya asks the Buddha “when was the city kathmandu made by clearing the water of lake resided by nagas ?” then the shayamuni bhagwan replied that “ when I was known as prabataksha at the time of biswabhu tathagatta, a person by the name of manju devacharya cleares up the water by destroying the forest of kuruwa, chabaha, suryaghat and gokarna and established the city.” And there is also mention that he made Dharmakar its king and made the city famous as manjupattan.

That shows that previously kathmandu valley was the lake. There was believe that manjusri  saw a lotus flower in the center of the lake and cut the gorge at chovar to allow the water of lake to drain. The lake became the Kathmandu valley and later shree  5 Prithvi Narayan shah made this valley as the capital city of Nepal and the drained water became a river known as bagmati river.and the place where the lotus settled became swayambhunath stupa.

By means of video take a look of gorge chovar which was cut by manjusri in now a days situation. The bagmati river became dirty because of sevages drain into it from whole Kathmandu valley.

peacock is one of the most beautiful bird in the nature. The peacock is the symbol of integrity and beauty. peacock also carry the symbol of holiness  guidance, protection and watchfulness .peacock is the national bird of india because it is related to religion in indian tradition it is associated with saraswati . saraswati is goddes of education.

peacock is colorful bird and having at least all color of rainbow. Peacocks  are omnivorus and eat most plant parts, flower petals, seed heads, insects and other reptiles, and amphibions watch peacock on tree by this video
